We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Specification

As a HR Business Partner, you are expected to perform the under listed functions and any other duties assigned to you by the Group Head, Human Resources:

  • Partner with Business Heads and support the achievement of business outcomes and initiatives by recruiting and developing talented professionals, growing performance capability, providing best practices in talent management and contributing to high levels of employee engagement.
  • Conduct organization reviews and develop manpower and resourcing plans in line with the Bank’s strategic objectives
  • Co-ordinate and participate in the recruitment and selection process to fill vacancies in the business units
  • Serve as the internal consultant to the business units on people-related issues
  • Counsel and support staff on HR policies, processes and practice whilst ensuring speedy resolution of complaints and conflict
  • Drive change management programs and effective culture changes required for business success
  • Anchor implementation of succession planning, career development and other interventions
  • Ensure accurate and timely update of staff records and reporting

Requirements 
Academic/Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree – minimum 2nd class lower required. A Master’s degree or its equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, MBA or related disciplines will be an advantage
  • HR certification { CIPM,CIPD, SHRM}

Experience:

  • At least 8 years extensive experience in Human Resources management with at least 4 years in supervising a team

Key Competency Requirements:

  • Strong HR generalist experience particularly in; (a) supporting managers and staff in planning and achieving work programs (b) manpower planning and talent acquisition (c) career planning and succession management (d) performance management and assessment
  • Good understanding of Banking and the financial services industry with capacity to drive and direct change initiatives in corporate human resource policies and services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Competence in the use of standard Microsoft Office Suite applications and e-Recruitment systems
  • Excellent customer service disposition.

Salary
N7,000,000 – N8,000,000 annually.
